My Mid Summer Night's Dream...

On a moonless night...
with stars shining bright...
I lay on the shore
thinking of the treasure trove...
Up came a huge wave
that washed me into a cave
with thousands of bats flying
and evil spirits dancing!
Help! i cried in vain
but nobody understood my pain!
I walked into the cave boldly!
with a bat following me slowly...
Up i jumped in fear
when i saw a hungry bear!!
Then came a flash of an idea
to overcome the bear phobia!
I lay down holding my breath
to save myself from the death!
The bear crept near me to smell...
thinking i was dead, went away with a jingling bell !!
I gave a sigh! of relief
Thinking my saviour in belief!
Then came a huge wave that threw me high into the sky...
feeling happy, to the cave, i bid good bye!
I landed on the shore
and once again... started thinking of the treasure trove...

This is an atempt to keep poems simple and easy to comprehend... so it is... for the child in us ;)

Hi Vil.,

Your concert schedule is looking somewhat too long in the sense , too much of redundant info (like "violin","mridangam" all over the place..)Longer your page will be, worse it will be for those reading it..In fact ,many ppl. reading ur blog may have accidentally missed ur beautiful poem (like me :))For addresses you can give sulekha yellow pages links, instead of the actual address of sabhas..Also I find lot of space is wasted to the vertical alignment of concerts..in a nutshell ,scope for tremendous improvement...:)
Cheers,
Karthik
